I figure the reading group died down due to it being summer and everyone just being away at random times. I say we get this thing started again and continue with the group! Let me know what you think.

The work is an Anarchist critique of the state socialism of Marx and others.

Tue. June 29: The People's Journey in SLC

If anybody is interested in driving up to attend the The People's Journey as they tour through Utah I think it'd be a great activity to do as a group. They will be in SL around the time that we have been mtg. as a group on Tuesday evenings. I'd be happy to drive if anybody would like to carpool.

The People's Journey is comprised of two Iraq War Veterans, one Iraq War Refugee, & three women from Palestine "speaking about life in the middle of war [with] views from Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and America."

June 15th Meeting

We will be showing a documentary about the Zapatistas, entitled "A Place Called Chiapas," at Jayson Reynold's & John Ditzler's house this Sunday evening (June 13) at 9:30 pm. Fourth Meeting

Third Meeting

It has been decided that our next meeting will be on Tuesday, June 1st at 8pm in Scera Park in Orem. We will be discussing The Organizational Platform of the General Union of Anarchists by the group Dielo Truda. It can be found here:

Also, everyone try to do some research on either tenants rights or police interaction so that we can start planning a workshop around one of these two issues.
